Atlas GeoSolutions was established in 2002 in response to the rapidly growing need for effective and reliable survey data in the Nigerian oil and gas, extractive and construction industries. Six years on the company has steadily developed into a one-stop-place for offshore and onshore surveys and geo-spatial data management. In 2004, a re-focusing was initiated to extend our service offerings to include offshore construction survey support services, and in conjunction with affiliate companies provide detailed pre-engineering studies for offshore and onshore installations and facilities. This marked a turning point in our quest to support our various clients from project conceptualization to deployment through to completion, maintenance and decommissioning on land and in the sea.
Atlas GeoSolutions’ operations and methodologies are designed to be environmentally-sensitive while ensuring the health and safety of our people and others associated with our activities. We are not just a service-provider. We are a solutions-partner – working in conjunction with our clients to ensure that the right products and services are delivered at all times and in whatever conditions on land or at sea. In this direction, we are committed to making long-term investments in our people, assets, know-how and relationships in support of our clients.
Atlas GeoSolutions is motivated by a clear mission: to be the preferred provider of offshore and onshore survey and geo-spatial data services in Nigeria and the African west coast. In achieving this goal, our strategy is formulated in line with a set of clearly defined values. These set the basis of our strategy and provide shared professional standards for our people.
Operating from a single location in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, Atlas GeoSolutions maintains project offices in Lagos and Warri in support of project activities. Currently, the company has twelve (12) permanent staff made up of managers, engineers, surveyors, geophysicists, geologists, geographers, data processors, and support people, with ready access to a pool of qualified and experienced personnel drawn from diverse disciplines who are engaged on contract terms based on project requirements.
